The home is appointed with traditional double-hung Kolbe windows, with 16-over-1 divided light design that create a luxurious, cottage atmosphere, as well as Kolbe doors, all equipped with precision hardware by Hoppe. A wood-paneled cathedral ceiling in the living room descends towards walls lined with windows that frame the special view. The deep covered balcony with ipe decking provides a tremendous amount of space for lounge chairs, a table with chairs as well as a swing that is undoubtedly the best seat in the house. A window-lined, lakefront dining room provides seating for eight. The beautiful kitchen sinks below the adjacent living and dining rooms to create striking sight lines towards its elevated fireplace flanked by raised display cabinets. Steps descend from both sides of its entry beyond additional display alcoves to the light-filled space with slate tile floors that contrast beautifully with the crisp, white, built-in chests of drawers that flank an elevated fireplace directly opposite the bed wall. French doors mirror one another on both the north and south walls. The north doors can be accessed by a secluded path that splits from the one leading to the front porch while the south doors provide private access to the pool area. Additional steps lead up into the master bath. Slate subway tile appoints the floors and are joined by a textural basket weave of floor-to-ceiling limestone mosaic tile in the tub and walk-in shower area. A double vanity features vessel sinks and sits opposite a private water closet. This home conveys complete with all of its beautiful furnishings and accessories, with few noted exceptions.
